India Cyber Safety Awareness Movement under the brand name “Esafe-India” is a collective Public- Private endeavor with sincere objectives of making cyber space a safe and secure domain. The idea is to broadly spread the message of safe and secure computing practices amongst all sections of society keeping in mind the meteoric rise in internet usage in our country. The aim is to percolate the messages regarding safe and secure internet practices in a simplified fashion so that it can reach the grass root levels irrespective of their age and education levels.

India is a land of diversity with over 31 languages spoken all over the country. To ensure maximum reach, the awareness campaign is being built with a multilingual interface in most of the languages.

Esafe-India campaign has been ideated by Mandamus Info Knowledge Consultants (Bangalore) Pvt Ltd as a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative. This initiative has received active encouragement and support from “IT BT Department, Government of Karnataka”, “Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India” via “C-DAC, Hyderabad” under the ISEA (Information Security Education and Awareness) initiative.

Esafe-India has also been promised assistance from EWA (Indo-German-Swiss Governments’ initiative) towards handling of E-Waste efficiently.
